Central Kitsap High School Distinguished Alumni Awards

The CKHS Alumni Association is proud to announce that, beginning in 2022, we began awarding CKHS Distinguished Alumni Awards. These awards will recognize those individuals who, through their accomplishments, have brought a measure of distinction and pride to our school and our community.

By honoring our former students, we hope to inspire today’s students to strive for both personal and professional success.

We would like to invite CKHS Alumni, as well as members of our community, to submit nominations. The recipients will be recognized at the Night of Orange and Black. Do you know someone who deserves

Ways to be Recognized

CKHS Distinguished Alumni Awards will be awarded to individuals who exemplify the Cougar Spirit and Pride with their service to the community, professional or athletic achievement.

Service to Community: This recognizes alumni whose desire is to promote the welfare of others as evidenced through their commitment, skill, and dedication. Through voluntary Service in artistic, recreational, educational, human service, or other worthy organizations, recipients of this award have had a significant impact on their community and have enhanced the quality of life around them through service.

Professional Achievement: This recognizes alumni whose professional career and work exemplify the intellectual curiosity, active inquiry, and reasoned independence that a Central Kitsap High School education aims to develop. Recipients have gained regional, national or international recognition in their careers in a manner that reflects positively on CKHS.

Athletic Achievement: This recognizes alumni who have excelled in the field of athletics both on and off the field of play. Athletes, coaches or trainers who have participated in any sport are eligible to be nominated.

*To be eligible for consideration, a nominee must have earned a degree from Central Kitsap High School.
